Shahid Kapoor is in huge demand among the youth

Shahid Kapoor is pretty popular among the youth and this popularity of his, has bagged him a new endorsement deal worth Rs 5 crore.
Yes! You hear it right! Rs 5 crore! Shahid Kapoor is the newest face of Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting (WCCL) brand Aramusk, which currently encompasses men soaps and deodorants. Shaving gels and face creams will soon be added to the brand.
A spokesperson from the deo brand said:“We chose Shahid to endorse our product after studying a market survey. He has a very big fan base among young women.”
Confirms WCCL senior vice-president Anil Chugh,“He has been contracted for more than a year”.
Earlier, celebrities like Juhi Chawla (Safe Wash), Katrina Kaif (Yardley) and Saif Ali Khan (Santoor), have endorsed WCCL products.
Shahid is currently filming for Rajkumar Santoshi’s Phata Poster Nikhla Hero.
The source said: “Shahid will have ample time to shoot for his ad, since he has just one film in his kitty right now.”
